Based in Manchester city centre, Glenbrook has a dedicated team, which has extensive knowledge and experience across a wide range of sectors.
Ian has 20 years of experience as a property developer. During this time, Ian has been involved as a director and major shareholder in businesses that have delivered over 3.7 million sqft of commercial and residential accommodation with a GDV is excess of £480m.
Ian has significant experience in assembling and successfully delivering investment and development projects from industrial and office, through to retail and residential.
Ian is a board member of the Investment Property Forum (IPF).
Guy founded his career with 15 years at Grosvenor based in London. He worked on three main projects – Festival Place Basingstoke, Liverpool ONE and a £1bn development in Mayfair.
His expertise spans the whole investment and development process, from funding, purchase and sale, through to design, planning, financial appraisal and leasing.
Guy read Land Management at Reading University and European Property Investment at City University, regularly presenting on the development process to academia, such as Cambridge University and Oxford Brookes University. Guy is on the scrutiny committee for the Cheshire and Warrington Local Economic Partnership (LEP) and is the immediate past Chairman of the Chester Growth Partnership. He is also a member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors.
With 20 years’ experience in property development, Stuart heads up the project management team at Glenbrook and is ultimately responsible for successful project delivery. He focuses on detail, whilst ensuring projects are delivered on programme.
Stuart has gained experience working for large scale organisations including Driver Jonas (now Deloitte), King Sturge (now JLL) and Davis Langdon (now Aecom).
With a focus on delivery, Stuart has delivered schemes across most sectors, particularly residential, commercial and industrial, as well as hotels and leisure, covering both new build and large scale refurbishments.
He is a member of the Association of Project Management and the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors.
Jaspreet graduated with a BA Honours in Business Studies before qualifying as an ACMA accountant. She is now completing her MCIPD in HR. She has accrued 10 years’ experience in Property Development and Management, working with some of the North West’s most high-profile prop cos. Including Manchester Airport Group, Allied London and Capital Properties.
At Glenbrook, Jaspreet is responsible for heading up the company’s Finance and HR department.
Jaspreet enjoys spending her spare time with her family and young daughter, although she has been known to enjoy the occasional shopping spree!
Shannon is a Chartered Surveyor with over 15 years’ experience in the residential sector, previously working at JLL as a Lead Director in the Residential Professional Advisory team.
Her experience is varied, having hands-on sales and lettings experience; management of large scale development disposal to both individual buyers and institutional investors; valuation of portfolios, land and PRS schemes, Affordable Housing consultancy; and Retirement Living. Whilst at JLL she led a trip to the States to explore the Multi-Family market in preparation for the launch of JLL’s PRS Management offering.
She is passionate about creating well designed homes and neighbourhoods through collaboration and innovation, and forging long-lasting relationships with like-minded professionals and organisations. Shannon is on the RICS Awards Judging Panel, is Vice-Chair of Women in Property (North West) and also involved with Greater Manchester Combined Authority’s Aging Hub.
Director - Investment Management
Scott joined from Aberdeen Standard Investments where he was responsible for a UK-wide segregated mandate of c£500m. During this time he completed over 30 transactions with a capital value in excess of £400m across all sectors, geographies and deal types including development and constructed a sub-fund focused on smaller, regional properties that performed top in its MSCI index over two and three years.
He qualified as a Chartered Surveyor in Investment at Drivers Jonas/Deloitte where he gained significant experience asset managing distressed property portfolios and advising upon acquisitions for private equity. His resulting experience in stock selection, asset management and the repositioning of real estate portfolios provides expertise and perspectives from across the investment and fund management process.
He graduated from Manchester University with first class honours before completing a real estate conversion course at College of Estate Management, Reading.
A chartered surveyor, Chris joined Glenbrook in April 2017 to head up the investment team at Glenbrook. Over the last 20 years, Chris has developed an established reputation in the market, having worked at DTZ (now Cushman & Wakefield) before moving from agency to investment and development working with MCR Property Group.
There he was responsible for over £50 million of commercial investment sales and acquisitions.
Chris has been appointed to develop the investment management side of the business, including fund raising, sourcing opportunities, asset management and disposals.
A family man, Chris enjoys golfing, rugby and playing the drums. Chris is a member of the Office Agents Society and the Investment Property Forum.
Richard has this year joined Glenbrook as investment director responsible for capital raising, investment analysis, ongoing client relationships and reporting.
He joined from North Wales Hydro Power, a company which he founded in 2011, and which went on to develop a portfolio of 11 hydroelectric schemes across Snowdonia. This business benefits from 20-year index linked Feed in Tariff income and from long-term leases with landowners across the region. Richard has significant experience in managing development and operational risk, creating and driving through opportunities and raising finance. Richard is also involved with wind and energy storage businesses and was named as one of Wales Rising Stars in 2013.
A graduate from Reading University with a degree in Land Management, Richard spent two years working for Carter Jonas, predominantly as a renewable energy specialist before setting up his own firm. In his spare time, Richard likes to play under-water hockey.
Laura graduated from Manchester University with a first class honours degree in International Business in 2013. Laura started her career at Pochin, a contractor who delivered Glenbrook’s first project, ‘The Keel’.
In 2016 Laura joined Glenbrook with a focus on development and investment projects. On the Investment side,Laura works with Chris, and actively leads on asset management tasks across the North West and draws together quarterly client reporting.
Laura has commenced a post graduate degree in MSc Real Estate this year, with the University College of Estate Management and has enrolled onto the RICS APC, on the Commercial Property pathway.
Having had well over 10 years’ experience in varied development roles, Dan returns to work with Guy, whom he worked with for many years at Grosvenor.
Following Grosvenor and before coming to Glenbrook, Dan worked with Barnfield, where he was Head of Development, and brings substantial mixed use experience.
With a focus on forging new development opportunities across all sectors whilst having also managed the exit strategies for a number of legacy projects, he will focus on large mixed use schemes as well as the PRS estate.
Dan studied business at Sheffield Hallam University and has engaged in a number of management and leadership courses. Dan is a countryman at heart and enjoys spending time with his dogs.
Senior Project Manager
Daniel is responsible for the management and delivery of a range of major development projects across the country, including Ellesmere Street in Manchester and Erie Basin, in MediaCityUK, that together will see the completion of over 500 apartments in the next 18 months.
He has more than a decade’s property development experience working with high profile organisations including Select Property Group (now Vita Group) and Rider Levett Bucknall.
Daniel has a first-class degree in Building Surveying from the University of Salford and once represented Great Britain in Rugby League during their successful tour of Australia in 2003. Like any decent rugby player he enjoys food, drink and travelling!
Senior Asset and Property Manager
Richard joins the team from South Yorkshire-based practice, Commercial Property Partners, where he managed several diverse national portfolios on behalf of a range of private and institutional investors.
At Glenbrook, Richard is tasked with taking responsibility for the day-to-day asset and property management of Glenbrook’s commercial investment portfolio.
An expert in risk management, Richard ensures a best in class and best practice approach is adopted on managing the company’s portfolio to ensure we maximise returns whilst also minimising risks to achieve optimum values across the estate.
With over 10 years’ experience in commercial management & project delivery, Liam has recently joined Glenbrook as a Project Manager responsible for the management and delivery of a range of major developments across the North West, including Broadway at MediaCity, Queens Dock, Liverpool and the reconfiguration of the former flagship Marks & Spencer store in Stockport.
Liam has gained experience working for former developer / contractor, the Marcus Worthington group successfully delivering a number of hotels, student accommodation and more recently The Forge, a 282 build to rent residential development in the heart of Newcastle.
He has a Post-Graduate Diploma in Surveying & Commercial Management from the University College of Estates Management.
Amy has recently graduated with BA Honours in Real Estate at Oxford Brookes University. She is now starting her career with us at Glenbrook as a graduate surveyor fresh out of university.
With various work experiences throughout the UK such as London, Liverpool and Manchester, she is extremely excited to be officially working in the property industry and aims to complete her APC with Glenbrook and become chartered.
PA to the Directors and Office Manger
A highly experienced PA, Kathryn has spent over 15 years working with organisations, all of which operate in the built environment sector.
Kathryn has held positions at Bramall Construction, Keepmoat Homes and Mulberry Homes and Seddon Construction. At Glenbrook, Kathryn’s day-to-day role at Glenbrook involves supporting the directors and management team, as well as running the Manchester-based office.
Outside of work, Kathryn has her hands full with six-year old twins and a 15-year old step-son, called Harvey. At the weekends they enjoy family walks together and movie nights.
